Future Flight Project

GA4Biz has been working with the Governments Future Flight project Future of Flight Industry Group – GOV.UK (www.gov.uk) to ensure that our sector is well represented in the argument for how the activities for remotely piloted and autonomous aircraft will be integrated into our existing aviation systems.
The words at the front of the government document define the purpose of the group.
Industry and government collaboration on creating and delivering a Future of Flight Plan to maximise the benefits of Future of Flight technologies while ensuring their emergence is safe and secure.
This group is chaired by the Aviation Minister, and we are represented as GA4Biz on this group, plus ARPAS because they are preeminent in this subject matter are also represented.
There are working groups associated with the development of the main project plan and the elements which support that process where we are again representing your interests in every way that we can.
As a group GA4Biz has discussed in detail the necessary elements of the project plan and we recently met with Richard Burn. Richard Burn is the project manager pulling together the main project plan on behalf of the Ministers team and we have been able to provide Richard with appropriate input to ensure that our sector is correctly identified in that future planning process.
Our next meeting with the Minister will be taking place on the 18th of September 2023 at Great Minster house in London.
